I use this compressor for installing new trim and t-moulding in my house with a small brad nailer. I also use it for pumping up tires on my cars and bicycles. If you want a small, quiet compressor for home use, this is it! If you’re a professional trim carpenter you need to get the next larger size compressor so you can connect and run more than one brad/nail gun.

I DO MINIATURE MACHINING AND BUILD TINY STERLING ENGINES. SINCE I AM 100% DISABLED WITH POST-POLIO, I HAVE A “ROLL-AROUND” MACHINE SHOP IN OUR FAMILY ROOM SO I DON’T HAVE TO CLIMB STAIRS FROM THE GARAGE ANY MORE. I HAVE A TWO GALLON AIR “STORAGE-TANK” ON THE BACKSIDE OF MY BENCH FOR CLEARING METAL DEBRIS. I FILL THAT TANK FROM THE LITTLE DEWALT, AND A FILL UP LASTS FROM SEVERAL DAYS TO A WEEK OR MORE. I ONLY NEED VERY SHORT LOW PRESSURE AIR BLASTS. THUS, I ONLY NEED TO FILL THE “STORAGE TANK” ABOUT EVERY 8 DAYS OR SO.

THIS ARRANGEMENT WORKS EXTREMELY WELL FOR ME AS I DO NOT HAVE THE ROOM TO MOUNT THE COMPRESSOR ON THE BACK OF BENCH. BESIDES, THIS GIVES ME A BIT OF NEEDED EXERCISE GETTING THE COMPRESSOR OUT, AND CARRYING IT INTO OUR FAMILY ROOM FOR A “FILL” EVERY WEEK OR SO. NOW, THE PERFORMANCE OF THE LITTLE GUY IS ABSOLUTELY TOP-NOTCH AND QUICKLY FILLS THE STORAGE TANK. IT ALSO HAS A HIGHER PRESSURE CAPACITY (135 POUNDS)THAN MANY SMALL UNITS WHICH GIVES ME LONGER PERIODS BETWEEN FILLS. IT IS PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS AND I AM EXTREMELY SATISFIED.

This compressor is a really nice compact unit. It’s comes up to pressure quickly and is VERY quiet. Compared to the noisy old Campbeli Hausfeld compressor it replaced this thing is a relief to my ears. It just purs. The front panel gauges, pressure adjustment knob and hose attachment fitting are very convenient. I only use it for tire inflation and general cleaning and drying so I can’t vouch for its use with air tools. However if I were using it in doors the low sound level would surely be a big plus. And again it does come back up to pressure very quickly compared to the CH. All in all I’ve been very satisfied and only hope it holds up over the long haul.

The item arrived promptly, as is the case with virtually all Amazon purchases. Break-in instructions were followed religiously and the unit has functioned quietly and efficiently. It replaced a captive air tank that I had been using to power a Dewalt 18Ga brad nailer. It was a vast improvement and easily transported between various (low production) jobs. I would recommend this unit to anyone requiring a quiet air source for relatively low air volume tools.

I bought this compressor to avoid carrying heavy 5-gallon compressor after having back surgeries. I’m really happy to have this unit. It’s extremely portable that I can carry anywhere even in the attic. It also maintains enough pressure for flooring stapler, so finish nailer causes absolutely no pressure problem.

I used to use CO2 nailer for small jobs. After buying this, I don’t use the very expensive CO2 tank any more. This unit is almost as handy as CO2 nailer. It’s amazingly quiet that normal conversation never get nterrupted while it’s running.

Obviously this is not for big jobs like using two flooring staplers at the same time. One drawback I notice is air pressure does not remain in the tank after turning it off. Air leaks out fairly quickly. I haven’t measure how fast it goes to zero pressure, but it does not maintain for an hour. However, it recharges faily quitckly too. ^^ and very quietly.
Fittings are not provided, so have to buy everything. That’s an extra cost.

I recommend to anyone who need light duty compressor work.

This is simply a great compressor for all but the heaviest of jobs.

Noise. The key benefit to this compressor is its quietness. You can actually hold a conversation while it’s re-filling. This is like a completely different product from the pancake compressors we’ll all endured for years. Everybody who’s seen this in operation and then learns that it’s just roughly $150 instantly wants one. I don’t want to oversell this. It’s not whisper quiet–you know it’s running–but it is by far the quietest compressor this side of $300. Its low noise level means that you don’t even mind that it has to re-fill more often than most of its larger competitors.

Ergonomic. The handle sits on its edge so that when carried the compressor hangs vertically from your hand barely brushing your leg or the wall as you walk up the stairs. Compare this to any of the pancake compressors with a handle in the center of a large disk. In addition, the compressor is also quite light so that you don’t even mind having to move it.

Powerful enough. I haven’t tried aggressive full-speed framing with this compressor, but I have thrown everything but at it and it shines. As stated above the compressor does have to race to keep up with you if you’re really nailing along, but I haven’t had it fall behind (drop line pressure) on me yet.

Buy it. You won’t regret it.
