I needed a portable compressor for some roof maintenance, but was turned off by negative comments left for other units on this site. The cfm rating at 90psi was higher for this unit than other "pancake" models, which suggests that the motor is bigger, so I decided to give this one a shot. Construction quality seems very good. Noise is pretty much as expected. The tank is smallish for cleaning off surfaces but if it were any larger it wouldn't be portable, and the motor refills the tank quickly (typically 15 seconds) so it all works out. After using it for a few weeks, I'm very happy with it.

I wanted something portable that could still keep up with nailers, spray guns, and impact wrenches. I had used the Porter Cable pancake compressors before and was impressed with them but at 2/3 the price, I decided to give this one a shot.

This compressor is a bit louder than the Porter Cable unit and doesn't exhibit the same quality in fit and finish but it does work quite well. I've used it on a number of projects and it keeps up with my impact wrench and my spray gun although it runs often. For someone on a budget that won't be using their compressor on a daily basis, I would highly recommend this unit.

The Unit arrived damaged by UPS. I removed the unit and did not see any obvious damage. I connected the unit, installed the enclosed compressor oil and discovered the oil reserve was damaged. I had placed the shipping box on the curb for trash pick up and when I noticed the cracked oil reserve the box was already gone. UPS doesn't seem to be able to help much if they don't have the original shipping container. They sent a driver out, he would not pick the unit up without the box. I called the 800 number and spoke with three different customer relations reps. Three different times. Two of them said UPS would take care of everything, either getting me a new unit or reimbursing me for the cost. The third customer rep. said he had to have the box. I believe this is insane. I could order equipment shipped by ups and "damage" the box on purpose to get a replacement or refund. I feel I have been screwed by UPS. I am 100% dissatisfied with the shipping.

I do finished carpentry and cabinet installation. This thing works great for all my nail guns and other air tools. Very fast recovery time. Somewhat heavy but I have carried it up stairs and it was not too bad. Not so loud that I am bothered by it. In fact it makes less noise than a friends oil less compressor. Would not use for high air demand task such as paint spraying. Not made for that. I have been using this thing a lot for the past 3 months and no sign of slowing down.
